HEIDELBERG SPEEDMASTER CD74-5

Our Heidelberg Speedmaster CD74 is a 5 Colour A2 format sheet fed offset press. This press is specially optioned to produce high quality work at a highly productive rate. The press operates on the same network as our prepress equipment, providing the passage of ink zone and paper size data directly to the press (Prepress Interface). This allows us to achieve correct colour quickly, reducing paper waste and time. Registration of all plates is managed automatically as each sheet is scanned on it’s way through the press (Autoregister). Colour is managed by the inline spectrophotometer. Sample sheets are pulled throughout the run and measured against the approved make-ready sheet (Axis Control). Any variations in colour are quickly rectified by the machine. There are many other quality control features within our print process, ensuring that our work is of the highest standard available. Our CD74 printing machinists have extensive knowledge of the machine and lots of experience processing different job types, paper types, and all within short timeframes.
